Do I need to book my bike in advance?
We recommend booking at least a day in advance to make sure a bike is available for you. However, we’re also happy to serve walk-in clients when possible.
Can minors rent bikes?
Minors can rent bikes as long as they are accompanied by an adult who takes responsibility for the rental. The adult does not need to rent a bike themselves, but they must sign the rental agreement for the minors and provide their personal details.
What height range do your bikes fit?
Our current bikes are suitable for riders between approximately 145 cm and 190 cm tall. People taller than 190 cm can still use our largest bikes, though they may not fit perfectly. We’re planning to expand our fleet soon to include bikes in more sizes, including options for kids and very tall riders.
Can kids join the tours?
At the moment, we don’t have bikes for children, but kids can still join our guided tours if they bring their own bike. We’ll make sure the routes are suitable and that everyone has a great time together.
What’s included with the bike rental?
Every rental includes a helmet, a bandana, and a bottle of water for your ride. We also have optional accessories available at no extra cost, such as lights, small bags, and bike pumps.
What happens if my bike has an issue during the ride?
All our clients receive our phone number and WhatsApp contact for assistance. If you’re near Flores or San Miguel, we can send someone to pick you up or help with roadside repairs. If you’re further away, we’ll do our best to assist you remotely.
Do you provide helmets or safety gear?
Yes, helmets are always included with every rental, your safety is our top priority.
Can beginners rent bikes too?
Absolutely! We recommend that first-time riders join one of our guided tours in San Miguel, they’re beginner-friendly and a great way to learn from our experienced guides. You can also ask us for route suggestions and tips before you head out.
Where can I ride around San Miguel and Petén?
We have several curated routes you can explore, with difficulty levels ranging from easy to challenging. Right now, we’re focused on the San Miguel and El Remate areas, but we’re constantly expanding our route catalog, so keep an eye out for new adventures!
Do you deliver bikes?
Yes, we offer delivery in the San Miguel and Flores area. For other locations, bikes need to be picked up at our shop or clients can arrange their own transport.
Do I need to bring an ID?
Yes, every rider must present a valid ID (passport or DPI) when picking up the bikes. We’ll record your name and ID number for the rental agreement, but you’ll keep your ID with you afterward. We also offer a safe place where you can leave personal belongings during your ride.
What’s your cancellation policy?
For reservations, we offer a 100% refund if you cancel at least 7 days in advance, a 50% refund if canceled between 6 and 2 days before, and no refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation.
